Música ao vivo persegue estes discursos de conteúdo político e social. Reivindicações muito actuais afinal conquistadas há muito pouco tempo por mulheres como esta.
A solo in words and protest speeches. Maria Veleda’s phrases are expressed through a vocal musicality in a tone of conviction and struggle. The demands that are expressed are very topical and were finally achieved a short time ago by women such as this.
Coreographer and performer. Estudied dance, improvisation, dramaturgy and psychology . Worked with the following stage directors and choreographers: Joaquim Benite, João Garcia Miguel, Lúcia Sigalho, Francisco Camacho, Madalena Vitorino, Vera Mantero, Rui Nunes, Paula Castro e Silvia Real.

Since 2000 she develops the project Rexistir, A project of formation and creation with the inmates of the Castelo Branco prison.
